Our client, a well-established Japanese electronics company, is seeking a bilingual Internal Control Supervisor fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1) and Cantonese. This role is crucial for bridging communication between the Japan headquarters and the Hong Kong office. You’ll play a key role in translating complex compliance documentation and supporting internal control functions across the IT and Accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate and interpret compliance-related materials between Japanese and Chinese
  • Facilitate communication between Japan HQ and Hong Kong office on internal control matters
  • Support internal audits and risk assessments for IT and Accounting departments
  • Review and implement internal control policies and procedures
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with documentation for audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain governance standards

Requirements

  • Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1) and Cantonese
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in internal control, compliance, or audit
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex regulatory language
  • Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Candidate with less experience may be considered as Assistant

💼 Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
