Job Description:

Financial Accounting & Closing

• Handle daily journal entries, bank reconciliations, and cash management
• Perform monthly and annual closing activities
• Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow)
• Support external audits and manage balance confirmation procedures

Cost & Inventory Management (Manufacturing experience highly valued)

• Manage raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory
• Conduct cost accounting using weighted average method
• Perform inventory valuation, variance analysis, and purchase price variance control
• Reconcile data with factories and warehouses across multiple locations

Management Accounting & Reporting

• Allocate costs and expenses by department and product
• Prepare monthly management reports with analytical insights
• Compile quarterly consolidated reporting packages for the parent company

Systems & Work Environment

• Use ERP System
• Accounting Standards: IFRS
• Work in a multi-currency environment (HKD / USD / JPY / CNY)

Requirements:

• 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing industry or inventory related business
• Able to handle monthly closing independently
• Fluent in Cantonese with good command of English and Mandarin
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (E.g. SAP, Oracle, Navision, etc.)
• Strong analytical mindset: able to interpret numbers with consistency and business context
