Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with F&B clients including restaurants, catering groups, and retail outlets.
• Promote commercial kitchen equipment and related solutions to new and existing customers.
• Identify client needs and propose suitable products, maintenance contracts, and replacement solutions.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on orders, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and service.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and support business growth.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in the F&B industry (commercial kitchenware preferred; other F&B products such as frozen food or catering supplies also welcome).
• Education: Business or engineering-related background preferred.
• Languages: Good command of Cantonese and English; Japanese proficiency is an advantage.
• Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook); strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Attributes: Honest, proactive, and self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong accountability.

Our client is a leading commercial kitchen machinery trading company, serving Hong Kong’s dynamic F&B industry. To support their growth, they are seeking a (Assistant) Project Development Manager who can drive business expansion and deliver total kitchen solutions to restaurant clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with F&B clients (restaurants, catering groups, hospitality operators)
• Collaborate with third‑party interior design partners to provide end‑to‑end kitchen solutions – from layout and decoration to full sets of kitchenware and machinery
• Manage project development from concept to delivery, ensuring smooth coordination between clients, designers, and suppliers
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement and after‑sales service support
• Identify market trends and client needs to propose innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Diploma in Business, Engineering, Interior Design, or related discipline preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in business development, project management, or sales within the F&B, hospitality, or kitchen equipment industry; Candidate with less exp. may be considered as Assistant Manager
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Customer‑oriented mindset with a passion for delivering tailored solutions
• Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

• Responsible for sales-related documents, including quotations, invoices, sales orders, etc.
• Coordinate between clients and suppliers
• Manage delivery arrangement

Requirements:

• 1+ years clerical work experience in trading industry
• Proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel
• Fluent in Cantonese and Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) with good command of English and Mandarin

  • Familiar with business culture of Japanese company
